i heart anthony bourdain

anthony bourdain, please come back to the philippines.

please.

you can visit bicol, quezon, cebu, bohol, the ilocos provinces...and i can be your guide.

you're right. you missed out on a lot when you first came here.

did you taste pampanga's tocino and the sweets? if you didn't, you have to come back.

bacolod city, the sugar capital of the philippines, has some of the best sweets and desserts. panay island has some of the best seafood our seas have to offer.

baguio city has the good shepherd sisters' ube (yam) jam, for which you have to make reservations and you can get only 2 bottles max per person per day. and the peanut brittle. and the lengua de gato. exquisite.

have you tasted leche (milk) flan? and the rice cakes? there's just SO much to eat here.

can you come back? please? you still have a lot to see, to eat, to smell, to see, and to love.

thank you for loving lechon from cebu. and thank you for extolling the humble pork sisig, that dish so beloved by pinoy beer drinkers. and thank you for taking to san miguel pale pilsen. it is the world's best beer, n'est ce pas? :D

come back, anthony bourdain. who knows, you may want to stay longer. stay, for the rest of your life.
